I picked up some items from the MAC Selena collection, and I wanted to share my thoughts on them. MAC is restocking this line at the end of the month. I'll leave that info down below. This is a collection that I highly anticipated. I think MAC carried it out well, but they didn't really tell their customers about what time the collection would launch.
Missing My Baby
"Missing My Baby" is a light pinky nude. It has a matte finish. It is a little powdery. It's soft to the touch and it applied easily. I didn't have any trouble with creasing or fall out. It's true to color and highly pigmented. I prefer to use it all over the lid or as a transition shade. It costs $17.
No Me Queda Mas
This one is my favorite out of the two. "No Me Queda Mas" is a warm dusty brown. It also is a matte finish. It has a soft texture to it and it goes on easily. It didn't crease or cause any fall out. It wore for about seven to eight hours with a primer. I found it to be a bit more pigmented than "Missing My Baby." The shadow is perfect as a transition shade or to darken up the outer v. It's also priced at $17.
Amor Prohibido Lipstick
I hardly wear reds, so I went for a color I know I'd wear. Amor Prohibido is a pink midtone brown. It has a glaze finish. It was easy to apply and it didn't bleed into my lip lines. The lipstick wore comfortably throughout the day. It has a glossiness to it, which I love! It wore for about four to five hours. It's priced at $18.
Boot Black Liquid Eyeliner
This is one item that won't be back when items are restocked on 12/28. The brush is unique compared to other liquid eyeliners I've tried. It has a much bigger end than what I'm used to. I love that it's highly pigmented and that I just need one swipe of it. It lasts for about seven hours, but I have such a difficulty winging it out. I can see it being hard to maneuver if you aren't familiar with these types of brushes. It's priced at $21.

I managed to get a gently used Como La Flor lipstick from a makeup group, so I got to try one thing. I like the color of it but there are some issues with smearing and feathering. It's a little disappointing, especially since Temptalia gave it a high grade. I'm willing to buy Dreaming of You on the 28th.

DeleteThis collection was awesome. I didn't pick up anything but everything that I saw was in it looks nice! Those shadows are beautiful and so is that lipstick!
