Stila Cosmetics released palettes for their summer collection with all skin tones in mind. Their names are as follows: Fair/Light, Light/Medium, Medium/Tan, and Tan/Deep. They all feature five eye shadows and two blushes.
The palette retails for $39. The palette is gold with cheetah print on the front. A large mirror is included on the inside. There is eye shadow/blush names on the back of the palette. The back of the palette also gives you suggestions on where to place the shadows. It's perfect for beginners starting out in makeup.
I'll start with the first eye shadow on the left.
Curious (Soft Matte Nude)
Captivating (Neutral Satin Champagne)
Feisty (Satin Red Brown)
Daring (Deep Rose with Golden Shimmer)
Magnetic (Deep Plum Matte)
The colors are all mildly pigmented and are on the soft side of smoothness. They remind me of Lorac shadows a bit. Curious, Feisty, and Magnetic were on the powdery side. I did have some fallout with the Daring shade. I added some fix plus to let the shimmer stand out a bit more. They wore about seven hours. Long lasting eye shadows right here! That was with primer of course. You can create a natural look or go bold with these.
Eye Shadow Swatches
Onto the blushes!
Inspiring (Shimmer Coral Brown)
Mysterious (Matte Dusty Rose)
The blushes are both on the powdery side and also mildly pigmented. They both compliment the shadows very well and are just as long lasting. They held up to seven hours as well. The blushes have a creaminess to them.
This palette is an amazing value. You are getting long lasting eye shadows and blushes. The powder does bother me a bit, but it's worth it in the end. This would be perfect for travel as well.
