Hello!
Colourpop Cosmetics is one of those brands that is all the rage at the moment. I have only a small collection of their products. I'll post about my three Colourpop lip products next week.
These shadows retail for $5. Yes, five dollars! What a deal. Colourpop releases collections here and there. They have collaborations with Youtubers, celebrities, and charities. The eye shadows are really unique in texture. They feel somewhat wet to the touch and are very smooth! I could literally play with them all day just poking them.
My favorite way to apply these are with my fingers. You get to see the true color when you apply it with your fingers versus using a brush. These shadows also have great longevity! I can get up to 6 hours of wear with these. I never get fallout with these, which I love when I'm in a rush.
Reminder: Close these tightly, or they'll dry up fast.
Cricket - Cricket is a Metallic plum. It's a lovely color, but pigmentation just wasn't there. I'd apply it to my lid and just felt it wasn't measuring up to the rest of the shadows. It looked patchy on the lid as well.
Cop A Feel - Cop A Feel is a matte cream beige. I love it in the inner corner of the eye. It applies smoothly.
La La - La La is a metallic rose gold. This one is one of my favorites. It's really pigmented and gorgeous all over the lid. You need only one swipe of this for a true rose gold!
On The Rocks - On The Rocks is described as a Bronze with gold & violet glitter. It's more of a dark brown than a bronze in my opinion. It is a metallic shadow, and pigmentation is a medium.
Hanky Panky - Hanky Panky is a matte cool toned taupe. I loved this when I first got it, but it's definitely dead. It started drying up at the 7-8 month period. These have a shelf life of 12 months. I close them tight every time, so I'm not sure what happened.
Weenie - Weenie is a pearlized rose gold. It feels soft and applies smoothly. It was created by Kathleen Lights, who is one of my favorite Youtubers. This is also one of those shades that just needs one swipe for uber pigmentation!
On the eyes: Cop a feel (Inner corner), Lala (lid), Hanky Panky (Crease), and On the Rocks (Outer crease)
These are nice shadows overall, but they can have some duds. Longevity of these shadows, and no fallout are pluses in my book. The price simply can't be beat. They are also really easy to work with in my opinion. I hardly have to blend that much.

ReplyDeleteRose gold is such an awesome color! I hope you find a shop that sells them. I've also heard that they are dupes for Kylie's lip kit. (:
DeleteI really like LaLa and Cop A Feel (although I hate the name lol).
ReplyDeleteThey have some weird names lol, but slightly creative.
DeleteThat cricket color looks beautiful but too bad it was a dud! I felt that way about one of the shadows I have from them, I think it's called mooning. It's super dark and was difficult to apply in my crease. I love all of my other ones I have though, and I keep wanting to get more! I love the weenie shade so much. I can't wait to see which lip products you have from them!
ReplyDeleteAw man. I'll stay away from that one. Thanks. I'll have that up soon! :)
DeleteI don't have many CP eyeshadows, probably around 6 too. LaLa and Weenie instantly caught my eye! Love the look you created!

ReplyDeleteBeauty with charm
Ooo she created such pretty shadows! They definitely are a unique formula.
DeleteAll the 3 shades look very pretty. Wish there was a way I could get my hands on this beauty.
ReplyDeleteI hope there is a way for you to get them soon!
