Hello!
Every year Beautylish releases a Lucky Bag. It usually happens after Christmas. You pay $75 and can get a bag worth $150 and up. Sometimes they'll throw a little extra surprise your way. (CHIKUHODO brushes this year) I saw brands like Charlotte Tilbury, Anastasia Beverly Hills, GlamGlow, and Natasha Denona in other bags.
I was a little hesitant on spending so much money on this. I didn't know what was going to be in the box. I started snooping on Instagram, and noticed some nice products in other boxes. I was excited to find my box waiting for me at home today.
Wayne Goss Brow Set
Wayne Goss is a famous Youtuber/ Makeup Artist. He launched his brushes in 2013. They are on the pricey side, but I've heard they work well. The three brushes are designed to help you sculpt, fill, and style your brow. This set retails for $55.
Bioderma Sensibo H20
I've heard a lot about this, so I was glad to find this in my box. It's a no-rinse micellar cleanser and makeup remover. It's targeted for sensitive, normal to dry skin. Makeup remover is always needed, so I'll be putting this to good use. The bottle was 100 ml, which retails for $6.95.
It Cosmetics Bye Bye Pores Pressed Powder
This is a finely milled translucent powder that will blur pores and imperfections. It will also help your makeup last. I do have some pores and imperfections that need hiding. I hope the product will live up to its claim. The powder retails for $29.
NudeStix Blur Pencil
I've seen NudeStix on some blogs and Youtube. I was intrigued by how people can achieve a look by only using their pencils. This product can blur pores, fine lines, lip lines, and dry lips. It does feel a little moisturizing to the touch. I applied it on a scar on my hand, and saw it had almost fully disappeared. I'll see how this goes with pores and my lips. This retails for $24.
Kevyn Aucoin The Creamy Glow
I received the blush in the color "Tresbelle." It's a matte deep peach. I've never really used cream blush. I've always been worried I'd overdo it, and end up looking horrible. It can also be worn on the lips. It was pretty pigmented when I swatched it. It retails for $26.
Becca Ombre Rouge Eye Palette
I've only tried a highlighter from Becca, and was curious about the eye shadows. The shadows felt very smooth to the touch, and pigmented. It has a combination of matte and satin shadows. The shadows are warm toned. I don't have many rose or peachy brown shadows, so I'm glad to add this to my collection. This retails for $40.
I paid $80 including tax, and received $180 worth of products. I think it was a pretty good deal. I see myself using a lot of these products. I'll definitely be purchasing next year's bag. You can sign up here to be emailed about 2017's lucky bag.
Have you tried any of these products?

Thanks! :) Yes, I'm so excited to use them.
DeleteI get excited about things like this, but you're right that it can make you nervous not knowing what you're getting! It looks like you got a lot of great things!! That becca palette looks beautiful! I'd love to see a review on it!
ReplyDeleteYup! I saw some not so great bags. Okay. I'll work on that. :)
DeleteYours also look great, but I have to admit I was very excited to see the ND palette over the Becca palette. Enjoy your goodies! :-)
ReplyDeleteYes, so jelly of yours!

It's an okay product, not my favorite. I didn't see much change over pores, but a little scar it helped covered a bit. I'll try it on my lips next.
DeleteOH wow, you got some amazing things! I will have to remember about this at the end of the year!
