Youtube Made Me Do It!

Hello lovelies!

I saw  this tag going around on YouTube! It seemed fun, so I thought I'd give it a shot! We all know that social media in the beauty community can be very persuasive! I see new makeup collections coming out and I immediately want them. These are a few items that I bought due to social media!

 Urban Decay Primer Potion

I stumbled upon this while watching one of Julie G's  videos. She had comparison videos between the UD primer against MAC and Too Faced primers. She is so sweet and has awesome videos! I love the UD primer when it comes to making my shadows stand out. I'm not a big fan of its packaging, but that has been fixed in the new tube one.

NYX Blush

My need to get a NYX blush came along when  Charisma Star would show these in her makeup tutorials. She is such a humble and down to earth lady. Her tutorials always have so much work put into them. The NYX blush I have is in Pinched, and it's a great blush! I've reviewed it recently here.

Lorac Pro Palette

Emilynoel83 always has the best reviews and beauty tips. She had a review on the Lorac Pro Palette and recommended it. I'm a palette junkie so I definitely had to go out and get it! I love how it has matte and shimmer colors. I suggest you check out some of her reviews!  My mirror broke ): I hope that doesn't mean 7 years bad luck.

Josie Maran  Pure Argan Oil

Nicole Guerriero plays a big part in what I purchase. I love this gal! She has great makeup tutorials and I always look forward to her monthly favorites videos. She battles oily skin and recommended this to help control it. I like to apply this at night and have noticed I don't wake up as oily as I usually do. I've begun to apply it to the ends of my hair as well.

I remember when everyone and their mother was talking about the Naked palettes. Nicole helped me decide to get the Naked 2 palette. She was always using it in her videos. I plan to add the original soon. The colors are so pigmented and long lasting when paired with a great primer!

Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz

Brow Wiz taken from Google

Brow Wiz in Brunette
I'll have a review up on this soon! I first learned about Anastasia Beverly Hills brow products from StillGlamorus. She was using a kit and her brows looked amazing!  I love how the pressure of your hand can alter the color. My brows have never looked better!

If you enjoy watching reviews and makeup tutorials, I suggest you check these ladies out! What have you bought due to influence from social media?

  1. I love Emily Noel's videos :)
Which palette would you recommend? I have been considering both palettes, but I want to pick the one that's the best value!

    1. She's wonderful! I'd say go with Lorac Pro Palette it's $42 compared to $50 and has both shimmer and matte! :) The UD one only has 2 mattes. Lorac has 16 shadows while UD only has 12. They are both great palettes though! I'm constantly reaching for them! :)

    1. Beauty gurus are very influential! I hate when you cant get products due to them being sold in another country. You should look into swaps with people in other countries!
