Hello!
I've been using the Valentia Night Revive Retinol Serum lately. I received it from Valentia for reviewing purposes. Their products are made with natural ingredients. It's currently on sale for $35 on Amazon, which you can find here. The bottle contains 1.18 ounces of product.
I haven't really tried many products that contain retinol in them. My face had broken out about two weeks ago. I believe this product helped my blemishes subside. I think it's also the reason why I haven't broken out this past week. I did have a hectic week, so I was surprised to not see any new blemishes.
About the Night Revive Retinol Serum: "A transformative retinol serum that fights wrinkles and provides hydration, for visibly smoother, rejuvenated skin."
This Retinol Serum Will:
- Diminish wrinkles
- Stimulate collagen
- Improve skin tone
- Manage breakouts
- Condition skin
The serum has a thin consistency, but it left my skin feeling hydrated! I believe this has improved my skin tone. My acne scars have faded a bit and my skin looks a lot brighter. I love using it in combination with Valentia's Pure Glow Brightening Moisturizer. It fully absorbed into my skin and it hardly has a scent to it, which I like.
It comes in a glass bottle and it has a dropper for application. The dropper doesn't release more product than needed, which is nice. Natural ingredients may separate, so you have to shake it lightly before using. Retinol can make our skin more sensitive to sun damage, so it's best to use this at night only. I like to use it three times a week.
Key Ingredients:
Retinol (Vitamin A): It works at a cellular level to stop wrinkles from forming, manages breakouts, & evens out skin discoloration
Vitamin C: It guards skin from environmental damage and prevents premature aging
Vitamin E: It will hydrate the skin and diminish the drying effects of Retinol
Squalane: Softens and conditions the skin. It will also reduce the appearance of fine lines
You can check out Valentia on their Facebook page and their Instagram.
