I wanted to share some Colourpop lip products with you today. My last post was about their eye shadows, which you can read here. Colourpop's lip products range from $5-$6. I only have four of their lip products so far.
|Stingraye, Lumiere, Fiesta, and Lumiere lippie pencil|
Lumiere Lippie Stix & Lippie Pencil
Lumiere is described as a dusty mauve pink. The lippie stix is very comfortable and is a matte finish. It lasts about four to five hours on my lips. It's a shade that can seem a little scary at first, but can really be pulled off by many. This color has no trouble with pigmentation. I love how it has a sweet vanilla scent to it. The lippie stix in "Lumiere" retails for five dollars.

The lippie pencil applies smoothly. It doesn't tug or drag on my lips. It has lovely pigmentation, and also has a wear of four to five hours when paired with the lippie stix. It's also described as a dusty mauve pink. It can be worn alone, or with just a gloss over it. The pencil being soft is nice, but it leads to it breaking sometimes. I find myself having to sharpen it a lot more than my other lip pencils. I only paid five dollars, so I don't mind the sharpening too much.
Stingraye Ultra Matte Lip
I was really excited when Colourpop started creating their version of liquid lipsticks. Stingraye is a cool toned matte mauve brown. This liquid lipstick will still be on after you've had a meal! I get about a five hour wear. My only complaint is that it can be a tad drying. Stingraye retails for six dollars.

I saved the dud for last. My sister gave me Fiesta because she didn't like how it looked on her. Let's just say, it wasn't such a fiesta ( Party in Spanish) for me either! It's a medium peachy pink with a creme finish. It looks almost neon pink when I apply it on. It's just a little too opaque and I found it'd sink into the lines of my lips. I do enjoy the vanilla scent though. I usually wear matte formulas, so I'll be sticking to that. Fiesta retails for five dollars.
