Ipsy November 2014 Bag

I hope you all had a lovely Thanksgiving. Anybody score any good Black Friday deals? Today, I'll be reviewing my November Ipsy bag. This the third bag I've received. I really loved last month's bag. This month I wasn't so crazy about.

I received an eyeliner, hairspray, lip paint, high lighter, and eye base. I was most excited about the highlighter, but it's so tiny!

Marc Anthony Oil of Morocco Hairspray- I literally am hair challenged. I wish I could curl my hair or even braid. I simply can't. I told Ipsy no hair products. I like hair spray, so I'll let this slide. The scent on it smells very fresh and fruity like.

Starlooks Gem Eyeliner- I got this in the shade "Ultra Orchid". I love purples, and thought I'd love this. It's a beautiful orchid color with glitter. I really loved how this made my brown eyes pop, but sadly this sucker did not last my six hour work shift. I found it coming off.

J.Cat Lip Paint- I thought this was OCC at first glance, but no. I was worried I wouldn't like this, since I had a bad experience with my first OCC lip tar. This was actually the star of the show! I received it in the color "Red Potion." It's a beautiful wine color, and applies wonderfully with a brush. It did happen to dry my lips a little, but left a nice stain behind.

Be A Bombshell Cosmetics Eye Base- This brand is always showing up in the Ipsy bags. I received mine in the color "Submissive." It's a nice base to bring out the shadows. I wouldn't recommend it by itself, since it did tend to crease.

Temptu Liquid Highlighter- I'm a high light junkie. I really shouldn't since I have oily skin, but what the heck. This little guy is so tiny! I wished it had been a bit bigger. I got it in the color "Pink Pearl." The high light is very subtle. I dab it above my cheekbones, and on my cupid's bow.

Ultra Orchid, Submissive, Red Potion, & Pink Pearl
I did only enjoy two products out of five. Last month I loved my whole bag. Hopefully next month will be better. If you'd like to join, I'll leave my link down below. It's $10 for about five products ranging from deluxe to full size.

  1. I got the same stuff in my bag, except I got a liquid liner instead of the pencil. At first I sad about the highlight being so tiny, but then I figured you don't really use a ton of it at once so it will still last a long time!

    1. You got the liquid liner I wanted. So jelly! Surprisingly one of my coworkers didn't like hers and gave it to me. So true! It probably will take a ton of time to get through it.
      Thanks for stopping by!

    1. Aw, glad someone liked these items. I wasn't too into them. Hopefully Ipsy ships there in the future!

  3. I have a bunch of the OCC lip tars and because of the packaging I find that I don't use them as much. Reapplication requires me to carry around a lip brush + the tube and I'm not always up for that!
