July Favorites

Hello!

Long time no post! I honestly don't have any excuses for why I haven't been posting. I slightly fell out of love with makeup. I hadn't bought any products in like two months. I think it has to do with the heat. I don't bother to wear a full face during summer time. I'm back now though! I missed my little blog so much. I have some hauls and makeup looks in mind. I only have a few items that I've been loving this month.

Michael Todd Charcoal Detox Deep Pore Gel Cleanser

I've always suffered from acne since fifth grade. I was tired of always having to go to the dermatologist. I saw some Youtubers and bloggers raving about this line. This cleanser came in their acne/oily skin set. The cleanser retails for $23, while the kit retails for $46. You can always find discount codes though. The charcoal is suppose to draw out any impurities. I felt like it did its job and leaves my face feeling clean. I've hardly had any big breakouts since using this line. Have you tried anything from them?

Victoria's Secret Sexy Little Things Perfume

I truly suck at describing scents. This has been one of my favorites lately. It smells very musky and sweet at the same time. It has a lovely lasting power. The pump that comes with it is very old fashioned, which I love. It retails for $49.

 CK One Mascara

Longer brush
I may or may not have thrown my other mascaras out. I thought I was a Maybelline mascara gal for life, but that has changed. This is my holy grail mascara. It's a two in one brush. You can use the longer one or twist the cap to shorten it. You're definitely getting length and volume with this one. It retails for $18. It doesn't smear through out the day. I do find it a little difficult to take off at night though. You really have to wipe it off pretty well. Ulta gave these out as their Birthday perk this past March.

Shorter brush
Wet n Wild Lipstick in "Bare it All"

Have I not raved about these enough? If you haven't tried Wet n Wild lipsticks, you're sleeping under a rock. They have great pigmentation and are below $5! "Bare it All" is a nude/mauve color. It's only a bit darker than my natural lip color, which I love. The formula can be a bit drying, but it's worth it.

"Bare it All"
I've always been drawn to old school glamour. I was at the store Hot Rags the other day with my boyfriend. I saw this gorgeous picture of Marilyn Monroe, and knew I had to have it in my room. My boyfriend was nice enough to go back and purchase it for me. I was so happy when he gave it to me. Marilyn looks so classic and elegant in this picture. Her beauty was truly breathtaking to me.

What are some things you've been enjoying? :)

  4. For acne, I have heard that DoTerra Melaleuca Oil works wonders. They're the best essential oils & not watered down. Check them out.
