The Balm Nude Tude Palette Review

Hello!

So much snow in Chicago! I shall drink some hot chocolate later! :)  How is your weather?
Today, I'll be reviewing The Balm's Nude Tude Palette. It includes twelve eye shadows. It retails for $36. The Balm has started to appear in Kohl's stores and can also be purchased on The Balm's website.
The Balm is one of my favorite cosmetic companies. I'm glad they've come to Kohl's. I purchased my palette for $18 on Hautelook.  This is a wonderful palette for neutral lovers and an alternative to a Naked Palette. They come in two versions, one with naked ladies and one without.

It comes with a double ended brush, which is not pictured.

Sassy is a frosted white. It's best for the inner corner. I'm not a fan of frosty shades on my brow bone.

Stubborn is a beige peach satin.

Selfish is a satin taupe. I love this one for all over lid. Very smooth when applying.

Sophisticated is a dark brown bronze shimmer. Nice pigmentation and also applies smoothly.

Sexy is a burgundy matte finish. I wasn't sure how to use this at first, but love it in my crease area. It's a soft shade when applying.

Serious is a dark matte black. I love switching between this matte black and UD 2's matte black.

Snobby is a frosty champagne gold. Not as pigmented as the rest.

Standoffish is a frosty peach beige. One of my favorite shades. It's pigmented and lovely for all over or inner corner.

Sultry is a matte tanned brown. I love this for the crease. It can be a little powdery.

Seductive is a satin golden bronze. Pigmented and applies smoothly. Nice for all over lid or outer crease.

Silly is a matte deep brown with red and gold glitters. I love the color, but wish it was better pigmented.

Sleek is a matte chocolate brown. It is really intense and best for outer crease.

The eye shadows are all mostly pigmented and wear for a good amount of time. I wish the palette had a matte highlight shade. The duds of this palette are snobby and silly. They needed to have been better pigmented. The shadows can be a little powdery. Other than that, I love this palette. I'll be posting a look tomorrow!

The packaging is cardboard and is magnetic when it comes to opening and closing. It's pretty sturdy.

Sassy, Stubborn, Selfish, Sophisticated, Sexy, & Serious

  4. We've got a wind chill warning here in Toronto, so I'm pretty much using this cold weather to skip class. (-delirious laughter in the background-)(Anyways, stay warm!)
I remember madly coveting this palette back when Michelle Phan did a look with this, but after seeing the swatches, I'm probably a bit iffy about this one. NICE SCORE on snagging it for $18 though!! + the packaging is beyond cute
