MAC Extra Dimension Sweet Heat Eye Shadow Review

Hello lovelies!

Today, I'll be reviewing this MAC eyeshadow in "Sweet Heat." It is from their Magnetic Nude Collection. It retails for $19.50. I kept seeing swatches for this in the blogging world and Instagram. This eyeshadow is so gorgeous! Sweet Heat had been released in a prior MAC collection.

Sweet Heat is a pinkish peach with a metallic finish. I love this all over the lid! It is described as a liquid powder.

MAC eye shadows are one of the brands that tend to last long on my oily lids. That's what I love about them! The formula is smooth and creamy. I thought I'd experience some fallout, but that wasn't the case! No fallout here! I think this would look great on every skin tone! I've heard of some people using this as a highlighter as well!

Sweet Heat
I think this is a nice shade for all over and to make you seem awake. Great for those running late days! Below I paired it with a mauve shade.

Sweet Heat & UD's Tease

Did you pick up anything from this collection?

I like buying the refill shadows which are $10 instead of $15 with a compact.

  7. What a beautiful shade! My lids tend to be a little oily too so this would be perfect for me. The mauve is perfect with the Sweet Heat.

    1. Yes! :) My oily lids tend to do well with Lorac's Behind The Scenes primer! I like it better than my UD primer sometimes.

  8. This is really gorgeous! I absolutely love the design of the shadow and looks really radiant on the eyelids. :) I've always been lusting over MAC eyeshadows and been dying to buy the new palette collection, it's a $100 investment, so I better start saving now. hehe. Thanks so much for the review and swatches, you're very helpful! <3 Would you like us to follow each other in GFC and BlogLovin'? I would love to stay in touch and be friends! :)

Take care always, love Christine ~ xo

  9. Definitely a super wearable and brightening shade! I think this is a lighter version of a shadow I have...theBalm's Mischievous Marissa! I'm a huge neutral lover but haven't worn a bronzey shade in a while!

  12. I've been eyeing the Magnetic Nude Collection since the launch but have been hesitant to get anything because I've been determined to get my hands on some other goodies from Sephora instead hehe. If only Sephora and MAC teamed up, that would be heaven! Lol!

Sweet Heat looks gorgeous on you and I love how you paired up UD's Tease to your look! Thank you for sharing!
